We all know that there's a difference between a neckrub and a full body massage. Dogs, cats and horses know the difference, too. The most powerful tool we possess is touch. Massage is one of the oldest forms of healing. This easy-to-use technique will help you detect early warning signs of illness or injury to your pet. Massage increases range of motion, helps circulation and can assist in soothing sore muscles, arthritis and hip dysplasia. Your beloved pet will look forward to this class! A lifetime of massages for your pet from just a couple hours of learning some basic techniques. Each and every dog will be lovingly massaged in front of the class. Both of you will truly enjoy this experience.
There is no 911 for pets! Would you know how to save your pet's life in a life-threatening emergency? Every day thousands of dogs and cats are in need of emergency care. In this special class you will learn some alternative techniques as well as many life-saving techniques including animal CPR, choking rescue, how to check vital signs (which could help to indicate a true emergency) causes and treatment of shock, bleeding and heatstroke and more vital information to empower you to help save your pet's life. This is a hands-on class and we will practice CPR on my manikin dog named Austin. This class includes handouts and a certificate. A DVD is being made so that you can learn at home and become certified. Watch for latest news.
We can all be Dr. Dolittles if we learn to listen and trust what our animals tell us. If you would like some ideas on how to listen to your intuition and trust what you receive, then this class is for you. Learn to translate for your loved ones. Bring a picture of your pet and we will explore new possibilities that lie within each and every one of us. It's easier than you think! You'll leave the class with the feeling of "I can do this!"
